Château Vaudreuil, a five-star, four-diamond hotel, has long been synonymous with elegance and luxury. Nestled on the shores of Lac des Deux Montagnes, this prestigious establishment offers breathtaking European-inspired architecture, lush landscapes, and world-class hospitality. In 2024, as the hotel realigned its vision, there was a need for a compelling video campaign to showcase its renewed commitment to excellence. For this, Château Vaudreuil sought the expertise of Marrone Films.

Antoinette Di Paola, the Director of Operations at Château Vaudreuil, reached out to Marrone Films to create a video campaign that would highlight the hotel’s unparalleled service and commitment to guests.

“The hotel is realigning its vision and mission. Given this, I believe the emphasis on the personnel that brings the mission to life should be the message we put out there. It is the people that make the hotel come to life for the guests to enjoy a pleasant experience,” said Antoinette.

Before anything, Rick Marrone, Creative Director at Marrone Films, sat down with the Château Vaudreuil marketing team to create a plan that aligned with their vision for the campaign. Next, they conducted a location scout. “It helps us see things from our clients' perspective and is essential to the production,” said Rick. “We evaluate where the sun rises and sets, meet the staff, and assess props, wardrobe, locations, and more.”

Marrone Films handled every stage of production, from scriptwriting and casting to selecting voice talent and editing. The production team, led by Rick Marrone, ensured that each element was cinematically executed to reflect the essence of Château Vaudreuil’s vision. Julian Garofalo directed the actors and optimized the lighting, while Masa Suzuki and Sebastian Cabrera Vazquez played a key role as production assistants helping the cast, crew and gear quickly move from one location to another.

“Marrone Films was an easy choice. Rick was very attentive to the requests and understood the concept,” shared Antoinette.

Filming was meticulously planned, capturing the grandeur of the entrance hall, the serenity of the lakefront views, and the exquisite details that define Château Vaudreuil.

Rick explained, "As with every project, before filming at Château Vaudreuil, we created a detailed production schedule and call sheet to ensure the cast and crew knew when to arrive on set and what to expect. Combined with a detailed storyboard and shot list, everyone was on the same page, making for a smooth and efficient shoot day."

The results exceeded expectations, beautifully capturing Château Vaudreuil’s idyllic setting and world-class service.
