When it comes to covering the social scene, few do it quite like Jenn Campbell. Through Diary of a Social Gal, Jenn has created a world that gives audiences a backstage pass into the fashion, people, parties, and luxury experiences behind Canada’s most talked-about events.

Days before the Canadian Grand Prix, Montreal’s F1 festivities began with the launch of Le Glamada, Diary Vol. 14: the F1 Grand Prix Issue of Diary of a Social Gal’s large-format glossy print edition. Once again, Marrone Films was there to capture every detail.

This year’s soirée took place at Maison Principale, a historic Montreal venue where guests embraced an “Apéro 70s Glam” theme. “We incorporated retro-style editing, transitions, and visual effects inspired by the era while keeping the film modern and fast-paced,” explained Rick Marrone, Director at Marrone Films.

“One of the biggest challenges in creating an event highlight is choosing the right moments to tell the story within a short runtime,” Rick added. “You’re trying to capture the feel of the night, the energy, the emotion, while also making sure the brands, sponsors, and people who made it possible are represented.”

With a turnaround of less than 48 hours from capture to social release, Le Glamada was live just in time for Jenn’s iconic red carpet at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal’s Bal Interdit.

“For us, the best part is seeing everything come together in the final film,” Rick said. “After all the planning, setup, and excitement of the event itself, you get to relive those moments from a completely different perspective. Our goal is always to put ourselves in the client’s shoes and create something that reflects their vision.”

That level of attention to detail is something Jenn says continues to set Marrone Films apart.
